Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. She spent the majority of her childhood listening to classical music Boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic songs along with classic classical music. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. Ana started learning how to play and sing in the early years with her mother. She was given more formal singing instruction when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. She performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. Following her move to California in United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current home in the southern part of California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. She is involved with many local projects, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her love of music and art. Ana was also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
